Has anyone on here got a subscription to sharescope? A couple of books Ive read recently both mention the service. I took a look at their website but its not that informative although they do offer a 30 day demo.

Is it any better than pro real time?

Sorry I couldn't help you out with this spread betting trader. I've never used sharescope so I can't answer your question.

I see you asked the same question on spread betting central, so if anyone else wants to know the answer you can read it over on the spread betting central forum

I think I will stick with prorealtime for now, I cant see the advantages of paying for sharescope. But I will give the 30 day demo a try and report back here if for some reason I find its worth paying for.

I subscribed to Sharescope last week and have been playing around with the package which is very detailed. I have the Pro version which includes Level 2 data and intraday prices. It's quite expensive, the Pro version is £90 per month and the Plus version is £30 per month and has end of day prices and no Level 2.

The main advantages are the data mining facilities. You can quickly set up queries that show all sorts of movements like when a MACD crosses a zero line, when the RSI reaches 70 (or any other level). The system will then list every company that meets those criteria instantly. You can then flick the space bar and scroll through each company showing the chart, director share holdings, company results etc. There are all sorts of alerts that you can set up that highlight changes although there is no facility to have these emailed or texted that I am aware of.

Steve Briggs (sjb5555) has some good videos on YouTube showing some of the features which are worth a look.
