Hi well another pretty mediocre day on the markets; however, dare I say it, my portfolio gained a very solid £150 today - and this, despite a stop out on FIRESTONE DIAMONDS to the tune of -£48! And, once again, most of my gains today were courtesy of RANGE RESOURCES and SOUND OIL; the rest of my portfolio was pretty lacklustre... Account funds are £2965, just short of the magic £3K! Profit to date is now at £2150 which is my all time high to date. As you can imagine I'm starting to feel edgy again and just waiting for the inevitable consolidation/retrace. Having said that this is what spread betting is all about: gains, losses, retraces, great days and c**p days, etc., etc... I'm not sure I'll ever make a fortune but I'm still here after almost a year so, hopefully, I must be doing something right - at least now and again. My ultimate aim would be to do this on a full-time basis but I think I've some way to go before that dream is ever fulfilled.. See you tomorrow, BIG AL |

Keep up the good work Al, I have to admit I like to read your posts and see how your rollercoaster ride is going. Seems its all up and up at the moment, good on you. I need to get back into it I've been off the wagon a few days. |
