Hi

well that's another grim day for the portfolio which is slowly being whittled down. I had another pyramid stop out today; with much sadness my 11 x contract in RANGE RESOURCES finally buckled under the strain. This has been a fantastic position for me over many months; however, the stops did their work, and I ended up with a profit of around £600 - not too bad really.

The rest of my positions were fairly dire and I ended the day around £200 down. Account funds now stand at just over £2000 which is the lowest since before Xmas. Two weeks or so ago I had around 60 open positions; today I count just 30 remaining, and some of them are very near the stops...

On the plus side my 6 x positions in SOUND OIL continue to make slow but steady progress. As for the rest of my portfolio - well, all one can do is stand back and hope for the best. At the end of the day it's just money.... Let's hope that the situation in Japan doesn't get any worse than it is at present.

BIG AL
