Hi well, a memorable day, but for all the wrong reasons! I think today was probably the worst day I've ever had in spread betting. The FTSE is down around 90 points and my portfolio is in tatters; the only amazing thing is that I didn't suffer any stop outs... Actually maybe I'm overreacting because my funds 'only' dropped about £130 during the course of the day; yesterday I think I lost around £170. So there we are - £300 down in 2 days; doesn't seem too bad if you say it quickly!! I suppose it was a particularly bad day because everything lost ground... Anyway there it is; I actually decided to withdraw £100 from my funds to try and make myself feel a bit better - it hasn't worked! Account funds now £1400 although Ive taken back £600 so far and invested in shares. No report for the next 2 days as my wife and I are having a break down in the south west (Bath), so I won't be looking at computers and/or spread betting again until Friday. Hopefully by then things will have improved a bit...!! Cheers, BIG AL |
