Hi well just when I thought it couldn't get any worse - it did!! I'm around £110 down today and my account funds have dwindled to £1340 (although I have taken another £100 out of my account to buy some more shares). As you know I have £500/point on SOUND OIL, and unfortunately this share is not doing very well at the moment. Otherwise the rest of my portfolio is pretty dire as well; got to keep the faith, grit the teeth, and hope for an improvement over the coming weeks and months.... I haven't really got any spare trading funds so it's all or nothing; just got to sit back and wait now.... Here's keeping the fingers crossed! Cheers, BIG AL |

Welcome back BigAl. I hope you had a nice break away. You're certainly a braver man than I am. £500 per point is a big stake. I hope it works out well for you. Also are you using guaranteed stops on your positions. I've started a new forum topic on guaranteed stops to gauge how other people use them and see if they really are worth using. I'd be keen to hear your thoughts. |

Hi had a great time in Bath thx... Yeh £500/point is not ideal but it's just the way things worked out; I'm suffering at the moment but hope to be quids in if I can just hang on for a few weeks or so (without being stopped out!). I would always recommend guaranteed stops if possible..! Cheers, BIG AL |
