Hi again, well that was a pretty grim day by any account; for the first time in over 6 months my account is showing a small loss. The FTSE is down by a massive 100 points and my account funds have further dwindled to about £1000. We're all taking a massive battering at the moment and I wouldn't hazard a guess as to when things will improve; it's simply a case of hanging on as long as possible.... All of my contracts fell today; my 2 main shares - SOUND OIL and RANGE RESOURCES - suffered further minor 'damage' and the stops are getting worryingly close. I'm just relieved that I've managed to withdraw £650 of funds from my SB account over the last few months. I've used all of that to buy shares in both SOUND and RANGE; at least I don't have to worry about stops being hit although the returns are not great unless the shares really rocket. Anyway that's it for another really awful day in spread betting; things will improve eventually, but when is another question.... Cheers, BIG AL |
