Hi

another fairly grim day I'm afraid with the FTSE down 24 points and my portfolio down around £80 or so. My account funds are now £1580 giving a current profit of £760.

I had a 2 x contract stop out today with PATAGONIA GOLD leaving me with a loss of £8 (could have been worse). Most of my shares are commodities, gold, silver, etc., and they're all going through a bad patch at the moment. Got to grit the teeth and ride it out because it's just the way things work in spread betting...

It's very easy to become demoralised when things are against you so I think I'm going to stand back for a while and let things take their course. I'm not going to open any new trades for a while until things have settled down. I'll just check the portfolio once a day and raise stops as the opportunities arise.

That's it for the moment, cheers Big Al
