another fairly good day despite the FTSE losing some ground to end at 5971 (looks like my prediction of 6050 is looking a bit shakey!).

Anyway the usual mixture today but with the greens being in the majority; some solid rises but no serious downs have given me a £60 gain on the day. After yesterday's sterling performance I honestly thought there would be a retrace in my portfolio, but lady luck is still with me for the moment...

No stop outs again and 3 new positions opened:

1) MATRA PETROLEUM PLC
2) STELLAR DIAMONDS PLC
3) THOR MINING PLC

which leaves me with 63 positions in play. Of this amount 45 shares are currently in profit. My account funds now total £1790 giving a profit to date of around £990.

It will be interesting to see how the markets play out tomorrow on the last day of the year - fingers crossed!!
